232. Felix⁷ Clodfelder (John⁶, Felix⁵, Mary?⁴ Wagoner, Daniel³ Wagner, Johann², John¹). Felix was born 21 Mar., 1851 in Wallace, Fountain County, IN. at the Clodfelder homestead, 3 1/2 miles north east of. He married Elizabeth Ellen Livengood 13 Oct., 1870. Felix died 27 Sep., 1903 in AR. His body was interred in 1903 in Wallace, Jackson Twnshp., Fountain County, IN. Phanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, east of.
He and his wife lived in a log cabin on the Clodfelder farm but after the death of his wife's grandfather, Thomas Livengood, they moved to the Clodfelder homestead.

About 1884, Felix, went to AR to join the lumber firm of R. A. Pickins and Company at Walnut Lake. While residing there he became ill with swamp fever and died 27 Sep., 1903. His body was brought home and buried in IN.

  He received his education in the Livengood and Wallace schools, later becoming well known as an author of articles published in the Crawfordsville Journal and the Covington Friend. During this same time, he organized and judged many declamations and spelling contests, both popular social events of the day. In 1896, he went to Hudspeth, AR, where he became a member of R. A. Pickens Lumber Company rising from bookkeeper to manager of the firm. At the time of his death he was engaged to Miss Debbie Long, His body was returned to IN and buried in Wallace, IN.
