102. David Luther⁶ Clodfelder , Sr. (Felix⁵, Mary?⁴ Wagoner, Daniel³ Wagner, Johann², John¹). David was born on 26 Nov 1819 in Davidson County, NC. He married Mahala Harrison on 29 Nov 1843. David died on 20 Mar 1903 at age 83. His body was interred in Mar 1903 in Logan, IA.
He came to Jackson Township, Fountain County, IN around 1836 or 1837. After he and Mahala were married and around 1854 he and his family moved to Johnson County, IA and later about 1886 he and his three sons went to Wichita County, KS on a homestead. Each homesteaded a 160 acre tract of land and built a sod house. After two years of crop failures due to drouth, they moved back to IA, but they had acquired title to their farms. David owned land in Jackson Township, Fountain County, IN before going to IA.
Mahala Harrison (from KY. She was a 2nd cousin to William Henry Harrison, 9th President.). Mahala was born on 24 Aug 1825. Mahala died on 14 Feb 1903 at age 77. Her body was interred in Feb 1903 in Logan, Harrison County, IA.
