2. John2 Tussey or Tufsey , Sr. (William1). John was born 7 Apr., 1768 in Wilmington, DE. born near Wilmington, DE. He married Elizabeth Hunt 'Betsy' in 1789 in Rowan County, NC. John died before 1824 in Davidson County, NC,. Jan. His body was interred.
He came from the Delaware Valley, DE to the Jersey Settlement, Davidson County, NC c.1790. In 1792, John Tussey, Sr., bought 150 acres of farm land and a grist mill on Swearing Creek in the Jersey Settlement, Davidson County, NC.
Elizabeth Hunt 'Betsy.' Elizabeth died. Her body was interred.

iii. Jonathan Tussey. Jonathan was born 12 Oct., 1793 in Rowan County, NC. He married Mary Deweese 'Polly' 28 Jan., 1819 in Barren County, Ky. Jonathan died 13 Jul., 1859 in Pettis County, Mo. His body was interred.
Mary Deweese 'Polly.' Mary was born on 13 Jul 1799 in Barren County, Ky. Mary died in 1873 in Pettis County, Mo,. 1872-1874. Her body was interred.

4. iv. Daniel Tussey or Tufsey Daniel was born on 22 Jan 1796. He married Nancy Miller on 23 Aug 1819 in Rowan County, NC.
