She married Charley Washington Shoaf 25 Jan., 1911 at Cameron, Milam County, TX. Sallie died 17 Jan., 1958 at Houston, Harris County, TX. 3 Jun., 1958? Her body was interred at Brookside Cemetery at Houston, Harris County, TX.
After her husband's (Charley Shoaf) death, Sallie May moved to Milam County, TX and bought a farm in the Elm Ridge Community north of Cameron, TX. She raised her children there and did not marry again. At the time of her death she resided in Houston, TX near her daughter and son in law, Boyd and Emma Reynolds.

Died at his home, west of Needville, Ft. Bend County, TX. His body was interred at Needville Public Cemetery at Ft. Bend County, TX. Needville Public Cemetery is east of Needville, at the intersection of Needville-Fairchilds Road and Padon Road. He resided at Ft. Bend County, TX. C. W. Shoaf first appeared on the tax roll of Ft. Bend County, TX in 1897 when he was taxed for livestock. The tax rolls indicate that he did not own land until 1910 when he was taxed for 50 acres west of Needville on Snake Creek. At the time of his death the family was living at a place west of Needville but nearer to town.
There were no children of Sallie May6 Shoaf and Charley Washington Shoaf.

186. Flora Elizabeth6 Shoaf (Jacob5, Henry4, Johan?3, Susannah2 Hinkle, Casper1). Flora was born on 17 Nov 1888 at Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, NC. She married Willie James Potter on 25 Oct 1905 at Rogers, Bell County, TX. Flora died on 16 Jun 1938 at Ft. Sumner, NM, at age 49.
Willie James Potter. Willie was born on 11 Oct 1885 at Davilla, Milam County, TX. Willie died on 21 May 1964 at Ft. Sumner, NM, at age 78.
