8. Elizabeth4 Frank (Johann3, John2, August1 Franck). Elizabeth was born on 27 Dec 1754. She married Melchior or Melker Melchoir? Darr , Jr. circa 1780. Elizabeth died in 1825. Her body was interred.
Melchior or Melker Melchoir? Darr , Jr. Melchior was born in 1752. Melchior died on 30 Dec 1833. His body was interred. 1775. He was a soldier in the Rev. War. 1790. A Michl Derr is listed in the 1790 census in Montgomery County, PA with three males under 16 yeas old. 28 FEB., 1828. Melchoir Darr, Jr.'s Will (Written 28 Feb., 1828; Proved Feb., 1834) Found in Davidson Co. NC, Will Book 1, pages 240-241 In the name of God, Amen, I Melker Darr of the County of Davidson and State of North Carolina being of perfect mind and memory do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament revoking all other wills heretofore made by me and do hereby will and devise and bequeath my estate in the following manner -       First, I will and bequeath to my son Henry Darr the plantation that I bought of Wm Linn which my son Henry Darr sold to Jesse Hargrave containing seventy five acres be it the same more or less which I value at the price of three hundred and seventy five dollars. I also will him seventy eight dollars worth of property which he has already received.       Seventhly [secondly] I will and bequeath to my son Melkar Darr the plantation whereon he now lives containing two hundred acres which I value at the price of five hundred dollars. I also will to my son Melkar Darr fifty acres of land adjoining the land above willed to said Melkar Darr that I bought of Jonathan Roberts provided that he pays to my daughter Christina Grimes the wife of Godfrey Grimes the sum of one hundred and thirteen dollars.       Thirdly I will and bequeath to my son William Darr the plantation whereon I now live containing one hundred acres and I also will to my son William Darr all my land adjoining the lands of that belonging to the heirs of Christian Lookabell dec., and John M. Smith and Philip Hedrick containing one hundred and thirty acres. I also will him my Blacksmith tools and my dresser which land and property I value at the price of five hundred dollars.      Fourthly if my son Melkar Darr does not agree to pay to my daughter Christena Grimes the sum of one hundred and thirteen dollars within three years after my decease the fifty acres of land above willed to him shall belong to my daughter Christena Grimes.       Fifthly I will and bequeath to my daughter Barbara Hedrick the wife of Jacob Hedrick the negro girl named Lucy which they have in possession at this time which I value at the price of one hundred and thirteen dollars. I further will that all the money I may possess at my decease and debts due by note or otherwise to be equally divided between my two daughters Christena Grimes and Barbara.       Seventhly I do hereby nominate and appoint my son William Darr sole executor of this my last will and testament in witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this twenty eigth day of February eighteen hundred and twenty eight. Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Melker Darr the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in the presence of each other have at his request hereunto subscribed out hand as witness. FROM DAVIDSON COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA HERITAGE BOOK: John Kepley, the elder son, received land from Ludwick Winkler about 1798. He m. Hannah Frank, dau. of William Frank and moved to Harrison Co. Ind. c1815. Hannah and John lived until after 1855 and are bur. in the family cem. near Crandall, Ind. George Kepley, a younger brother, moved to Ind. with John. George m.. Anna Catherine Byerly. He sold his Abbotts Creek land to Peter Younts in 1819. They named the town they helped establish in Ind. New Salisbury, after their home town in N.C. George Kepley d. in 1852, Harrison Co. Ind., and is bur. at St. John Church Cem. near Corydon, Ind. ". He resided in 1815 at Harrison County, IN. He resided in 1830 at Morgan, Harrison County, IN. 1830 census.
