3. Johann Wilhelm3 Frank or Franck 'William' (John2, August1 Franck). Johann was born on 31 Jul 1731 at Oberalben, RheinPfalz, Germany. He married Barbara Walk in 1751. Johann died on 15 Nov 1804 at Davidson County, NC, at age 73. Date Source: Gravestone. His body was interred in Nov 1804 at Silver Hill, Davidson County, NC. Beck's United Church of Christ Cemetery.
Came to America on 9 Sept., 1749 in Phil., PA on the ship St. Andrew He was in the Revolutionary War. Note, Source: Billie Sharpe Swicegood, Davidson County Heritage Book, page 200, "The Will of William Frank, written 25 May, 1799, and probated in 1805 is found in Rowan County, NC, Will Book E: 153-154, Courthouse in Salisbury, NC, reads as follows: In the first place I give and bequeath to my well beloved wife Barbara Frank all my whole estate both real and personal as long as she remains my widow, but in case she should marry she is then only to be entitled to her third of the same.       In the second place I give and bequeath to my son Martin Frank the tract of land whereon he now resides on the west side of Abbott's Creek containing two hundred and seventy acres.       In the third place I give and bequeath to my son John Frank the place whereon he now lives, known by the name of Phiflies place on the four mile branch, containing two hundred and fifty acres.       In the fourth place I give and bequeath to my son William Frank three hundred acres of land on the waters of Abbott's Creek being the same whereon he has improved.       In the fifth place I give and bequeath to my son Peter Frank the manor tract whereon he now live lying on Abbott's Creek and on the east side therof containing three hundred acres; together with my wagon and all the gears belonging to the same and my clock and my crosscut saw.". Johann immigrated, in 1749. Destination.
Barbara Walk. Barbara was born on 15 Oct 1735 at VA. Date Source: Gravestone. Barbara died on 5 Mar 1815 at Davidson County, NC, at age 79. Date Source: Gravestone. Her body was interred in 1815 at Silver Hill, Davidson County, NC. Beck's United Church of Christ Cemetery.
